This lounger was my response to a brief calling for a seat made of no more than twenty feet of steel rod. Inspired by the utility and efficiency of the wheelbarrow, this design provides an economical, yet suitable place to rest.

The lounger seats its user near the ground, his/her fingers running through the grass. This modest posture reinforces the overall sense of simplicity.
